About
A herbarium you can carry.
A herbarium is a library of pressed plants, each one flattened, dried and labelled with its name. BRINOVELA makes small pieces of one for everyday things: phone cases, AirPods cases, charms and straps.

What we make
Our main line is the Pressed Flower Case: a clear phone case with real pressed flowers sealed inside. Each design has a small specimen label in its corner, as a herbarium sheet would. Because the flowers are real, no two cases are exactly alike — the size, shade and position of each flower varies a little.
Alongside it runs the Botanical Label Case: our own drawings, made in the manner of Victorian botanical plates, printed on a cream case with a numbered label. These look the same every time and cost less.
The accessories — AirPods cases, petal charms, phone straps, card holders and grip stands — use the same plants, so a whole set can come from one flower.
Which plants
We work with eight common garden and meadow plants: daisy, lady fern, English lavender, white clover, wood forget-me-not, heartsease, hydrangea and baby's breath. We do not use protected or endangered species.
Being honest about real flowers
Pressed flowers are delicate natural material. In strong, direct sunlight their colours soften over months and can fade towards cream or brown. We say so on every product page. If you want a design that will not change, choose a printed Botanical Label Case.
None of our cases have been drop-tested, so we do not claim a drop or protection rating. They protect against everyday scratches and scuffs.
Drawings and labels
The illustrations and labels on our printed line are our own originals. We do not reproduce museum collections or scanned book plates.
